The purpose of the proposed revisions to the policy is to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, Florida State Board of Education Rules, Board policies, administrative rules, procedures, and guidelines.  In addition, the proposed revisions promote transparency and accountability. This language specifies that all employee groups are required to comply with this policy.  

  •  This policy is being revised for technical changes only.
  • These proposed revisions encompass the suggested language from NEOLA.
Recommendation

Board Policy 3210 Standards of Ethical Conduct is currently being revised and will appear before the School Board on the dates indicated below:

  • Cabinet – 2/27/23
  • Work Session – 3/28/23
  • Rule Development (Public Hearing) – 4/11/23
  • School Board Meeting Information – 4/11/23
  • School Board Meeting Approval – 4/25/23
  • Effective Date – upon approval
