The purpose of the proposed revisions to the policy is based upon Board request.

  • Particular areas of revision include the following: Section T Process for Requesting Reconsideration of Non-State – Adopted Instructional Materials (Classroom and Library)
  • These proposed revisions do not encompass the suggested language from NEOLA.

 

Board Policy 2521 - Instructional Materials Program is currently being revised and will appear before the School Board on the dates indicated below:

  • Cabinet – 12/19/22
  • Work Session – 1/24/23
  • Rule Development (Public Hearing) – 2/7/23
  • School Board Meeting Information – 2/7/23
  • School Board Meeting Approval – 2/21/23
  • Effective Date – upon approval
Recommendation

Hold a publi hearing and approve Board Policy 2521 - Instructional Materials Program.
