| Discussion Palm Bay Magnet High School Robotics Team, five students accompanied by two BPS employees (male and female), are requesting approval to travel to Dallas, Texas to participate in the Vex World Championship on April 24-28, 2023. Students will miss five school days (April 24-28). On Monday, April 24th, students will be transported by their parents to Orlando International Airport, then fly as a group via Southwest Airlines to Dallas, Texas. They will return on Friday, April 28th. A local shuttle will take the group to the Fairmont Dallas Downtown. The event is within walking distance of the venue. Cost per student is approximately $920.00. Students are responsible for costs or can secure sponsorships. THERE IS NO COST TO THE DISTRICT | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
