| Discussion On November 16, 2021, the School Board approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by Ivey's Construction, Inc., for the Eau Gallie High School Track Renovation project in an amount not to exceed $528,425. Subsequently, change orders were approved changing the amount to not exceed to $607,969.49. The work has been completed. The final project cost is $597,743.73 which includes $508,994.77 contracted costs and $88,748.96 in owner direct purchases. The unused balance is $10,225.76. Because the cost of construction is over $300,000 the Florida Department of Education requires the Superintendent to sign the Certificate of Final Inspection (OEF-209) following certification by Engineer/Architect of Record and the Building Official. | ||||||||||||||||||
